ABC Back Into the Charts following “GOLDEN POP”-Concert Print

Second place in the British charts


Proven already by continuous standing ovations on behalf of the French premiere audience during the initial “GOLDEN POP”-concert, it has been officially confirmed at this point that ABC, British pop band from the 80ies, is back! The UK band’s current single “The Very First Time” from the album “Traffic” debuted in 2nd place in the British radio charts!

Kai Grüneke, CEO of “GOLDEN POP”-producer EVA enthuses about this added success: “All of the band’s performances at the „GOLDEN POP” event were fantastic, leaving the European fans thrilled and enthusiastic. ABC had spontaneously presented its newest single “The Very First Time”. What a great comeback! On top, the video of the “GOLDEN POP”-performance is now the hit on British charts!”

ABC has shown with its successful debut in the British radio charts that their music is – still today – wowed by generations; furthermore, they have proven that the unique premium concept of the “GOLDEN POPS”-concerts will add up: as one of the first concerts ever, “GOLDEN POP” will shortly be internationally released on Blu Ray DVD. In the meantime, Michel J. Vandewalle, EVA’s Head of Business Development, has added an additional feature for the community: “In order to give something back to all the fans that could not be part of the initial concert in Lille, we have come up with a special ‘goodie’: on the official “GOLDEN POP” homepage at www.golden-pop.com every visitor will – as of now and for free – be able to view a live excerpt of ABC’s new song.
